Bangladeshi men ‘rape’ Nepali housmaid after kidnapping her 16-year-old boy stabbed over earlier disputes

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 22: A Nepali woman, who works as a housemaid, was kidnapped and raped by three Bangladeshi expatriates in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh recently, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
According to security sources, the victim was walking in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh when the three suspects stopped and kidnapped her. They took her to a remote location and raped her, after which they stole her mobile phone and fled from the location.

She rushed to the nearest police station and filed a complaint against the three suspects.
A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to arrest the suspects.

Meanwhile, police are looking for an unidentified person for attempting to kidnap an Ethiopian housemaid, reports Al-Anba daily.

The suspect impersonating a security man ordered the maid to get into his vehicle and when the latter refused he beat her and escaped.

The victim has filed a complaint with the Al-Riqqa Police Station and provided details of the suspect’s car.

Sponsor assaults maid: An Asian housemaid has lodged a complaint at Fahaheel Police Station against her female Kuwaiti sponsor who allegedly beat her while they were inside a commercial complex.
The housemaid attached a medical report to the complaint paper to support her claim. A case was registered and the sponsor will be summoned soon for questioning.


Kuwaiti runover: A Kuwaiti has filed a complaint against an unidentified person who allegedly beat him and hit him with his vehicle along Fahaheel Motorway.

The complainant told police he was surprised when the suspect approached him as the latter attacked him for unknown reasons. He provided police with a detailed description and plate number of the vehicle to ease the investigation procedures.

16-yr-old stabbed: A 16-year-old boy sustained injuries when two other teenagers stabbed him while he was walking in Riqqa due to earlier disputes.
The boy was rushed to Adan Hospital while the investigating officers questioned his attackers who were then referred to the concerned security department.

Toddler falls from 1st floor: A Kuwaiti female toddler who fell from the first floor of the Al-Kout Commercial Complex in Al-Fahaheel has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of the Adan Hospital, reports Al-Shahed daily.
As soon as the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior received information, paramedics rushed to the spot and took the victim to the hospital.
The daily did not give more details.

Woman reports man: An unidentified young Kuwaiti woman, an employee of the Ministry of Education, has filed a complaint with the Shuwaikh Industrial Area Police Station accusing an unidentified person of harassing her, reports Annahar daily.
In her complaint the woman said after working hours, she walked to her car and as she was about to get in, the suspect who had parked his vehicle next to hers allegedly approached her and insisted that she should befriend him.
The woman has provided police details about the suspect and his car.

Man drinks kerosene: An unidentified person who tried in vain to end his life by consuming a large quantity of kerosene, has been admitted to the intensive care unit of a hospital, reports Al-Shahed daily.
A case has been registered at the area police station. Police are waiting for the health of the man to improve to interrogate him.

3 held for alcohol, drugs: Police from the Capital Governorate have arrested two citizens of an unidentified GCC state for possessing bottles of locally-manufactured liquor and drugs and driving under the influence of alcohol, reports Alam Alyawm daily.
Security sources said the men were arrested in Salmiya for driving a car with tinted glasses.
While issuing a citation, police got the smell of alcohol and after checking their vehicle they found the contraband.
The contraband and the suspects have been handed over to the General Department for Drug Control.
Meanwhile, a Bangladeshi man who was caught with four bottles of locally manufactured liquor has been referred to the concerned authorities, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The bootlegger was caught by a police patrol.

3 held for stealing cars: Police from the Capital Governorate have arrested three people — two Kuwaitis and a bedoun - for stealing cars and motorbikes and using them to make stunts and then setting them on fire, reports Al-Rai daily.
The daily quoting security sources said police acting on information formed a team of securitymen, put the men under surveillance and caught them red-handed.
During interrogation the men are said to have admitted to committing the crimes.

Youth found ‘unconscious’: A 19-year-old Kuwaiti youth who was found unconscious in the Diwaniya of his house in Shamiya has been admitted to the intensive care unit of the Amiri Hospital, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
According to security sources the victim was with a friend and he suddenly collapsed following which he called the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior and the man youth was taken to the hospital.
Initial reports showed the victim had taken an overdose of drugs. A case has been registered at the area police station.
