KUWAIT CITY, Feb 22: Officers from the Farwaniya Security Directorate headed by Major General Abdul Fatah Al-Ali initiated a security campaign in Jleeb Shuyoukh area and arrested many law violators and confiscated a huge quantity of spoilt foodstuffs plus used furniture.

As security operatives raided the market and its surrounding area, some 21 Asians were arrested for various criminal offenses, while the officers discovered many of them have entered the country illegally.

Meanwhile, 16 women were taken from dens of prostitution and flats turned into liquor factories, while 7 other women were arrested for violating residency law. They were all referred to the Deportation Center.
Through the campaign, three places for duplicating immoral movies were detected, with secret doors that help employees to escape from security operatives during raids.  Many items banned from the country were also found inside buildings rented to families, where immoral activities are carried out on the top floors.

Nearly all of those arrested have been referred to deportation center after securitymen verified they have no criminal cases registered against them. However, those arrested for brewing liquor and stealing international lines were referred with the items to public prosecution, without delay.
Security sources noted the campaign aims to enforce law to reduce the crime rate and thefts, particularly illegal international calls and hawking.

Citizen held with 3 girls: Securitymen arrested a Kuwaiti citizen with three girls on the Arabian Gulf Street for consuming liquor.
Security sources said the suspect aroused suspicion of the officers while on routine duty along the Arabian Gulf and they asked him to pull over for checking. It was then they discovered the three girls and the man were Kuwaitis, and smelt liquor from their breath while they were being questioned. All four people were referred to the concerned authority.

Man threatens to kill brother: A Kuwaiti citizen in his 40s threatened to kill his brother in Rumaithiya area when the citizen declined his request to give him KD 450 cash.
Security operatives rushed to the scene, and the suspect was arrested and referred to the area police station after the Operations Room was notified his brother was threatening to stab and him.  Detective discovered during investigation that the suspect has been involved in criminal activities, including drug related offenses.
