Kuwaiti dies in fall; decomposed body of person found Asian maid in suicide bid

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 21: A 37-year-old Kuwaiti died when he fell from the top floor of a commercial complex in Al-Rai.
Securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location after the Operations Room at the Interior Ministry received a call from a passerby who saw the victim lying on the ground floor with blood oozing from his nose and mouth. He was taken to Farwaniya Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.
A case was registered and investigations are in progress to determine the actual circumstances leading to the fatal fall.
Meanwhile, the decomposing body of an unknown person was found in the parking area of a transportation company in Mangaf.
Some officials of the company found the body when they parked their car, so one of them immediately called the Criminal Evidence Department which sent a team of investigators to the location. The body was referred to Forensics, while the concerned security department opened a thorough investigation to identify the person and establish the actual cause of death.

Maid in suicide bid: An Asian housemaid tried to jump from the second floor of a house in Jabriya in an attempt to end her own life.
Securitymen and medical emergency workers rushed to the scene after receiving information on the suicide attempt.  Upon their arrival, the rescuers saw the housemaid standing near the window, so they talked her out of jumping.  She then agreed and she was referred to the relevant security department for the necessary legal action. 
In an unrelated incident, an unidentified person was rushed to Jahra Hospital as he had difficulty in breathing after inhaling gas.  Investigations are ongoing to identify the person and to know why he inhaled gas.

2 stabbed in fight: Two youths sustained stab wounds in different parts of their bodies after engaging in a fistfight inside a commercial complex in Sharq.
Securitymen and paramedics rushed to the complex after receiving information on the incident.  The injured were taken to Amiri Hospital.  Preliminary investigations revealed the youths had a heated argument over a girl and this escalated into a fistfight when their friends joined the fray.  Eyewitnesses revealed one of the youths was carrying a knife which he used to stab the victims.
A case was registered and investigations are still ongoing to identify all those involved in the fight for the authorities to take the necessary action.
