KUWAIT CITY, Feb 21: The Ministry of Health has declared Monday and Tuesday as official holidays, in addition to Sunday which falls between the weekend and public holidays in accordance with circular number 2/2013 issued by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) on the occasion of the National and Liberation Days, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily quoting sources.

Sources revealed the ministry has instructed the directors of health districts and public hospitals, as well as the technical central administrations, to arrange the timings of their staff to ensure smooth flow of work procedures in these institutions during the holidays.

Meanwhile, Kuwait University has declared Wednesday and Thursday as lecture-free days for the students. This means the students will not receive lectures from Sunday until Thursday next week, while the normal work schedule for university teachers and students will resume on March 3, say sources from the university.
