MoH receives 20 new ambulances
KUWAIT CITY, Feb 5: Health officials were quoted as saying the country has taken delivery of 20 new ambulances, and many more will be received in the next few months to cover deficiency and serve patients better, reports Al-Anba daily.
The officials added the 20 new ambulances have state of the art facilities and equipment to facilitate the work of technicians while transferring patients to the hospitals.
They noted the Central Tenders Committee and Audit Bureau approved the purchase of these new ambulances, in line with the Ministry of Health’s plan to increase the fleet of ambulances at the Medical Emergency Department to complement the growing population.
