Different opinions by political activists on reconciliation call Youth movements join meet at diwaniya of Hayef

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 5: Many political activists have expressed different viewpoints about the call for reconciliation during a meeting of some political activists, including youth movements, at the diwaniya of former MP Mohammed Hayef, reports Alam Al-Yawm daily.

Ahmad Al-Sa’adoun, former Speaker of Parliament said he answered the call of former MP Mohammed Hayef to attend the discussion of issues in the political arena, while political activist Faheed Al-Hailam added he supports the idea of reconciliation provided that all cases filed against the lawmakers and political activists will be dropped without any negotiation or bargains. He refuted meetings and conventions are conducted at the expense of the youth and popular movement.

For his part, former MP Ahmad Baqer refuted that Sheikh Azbi Al-Fahd has any relationship with the initiative of reconciliation, indicating Faheed Al-Hailam and Bader Al-Shabeeb were the first people to have championed the initiative, while he requested former lawmaker Abdullah Al-Roumi to join in the proposal.
Meanwhile, Bader Al-Dahoum, member of the nullified 2012 parliament said the reconciliation initiative by Mohammed Hayef aims to deal with common issues of mutual interests to mitigate the atmosphere for the youth, stressing the option of negotiating to give up rights is not presented.
