KUWAIT CITY, Feb 3: The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs is currently studying the proposed mechanism for monitoring and recording the sermons of Imams, reports Al-Seyassah daily quoting Undersecretary Dr Adel Al-Falah. 

Al-Falah revealed some Imams have demanded for the recording of their sermons to protect them against hoax complaints. 

He explained the prevalence of false complaints against Imams and preachers has prompted the ministry to look into the possibility of implementing a system to monitor and record the sermons. 

He admitted the ministry has been receiving a number of false complaints; hence, it has intensified efforts to complete the study.  He added results of the study will be forwarded to the minister for the necessary action.
