KUWAIT CITY, Jan 30: Several areas in the country will experience power outage from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm from Sunday to Thursday next week due to the ongoing maintenance works on secondary electricity transformers in some power stations, reports Al-Kuwaitiyah daily quoting sources from the Ministry of Electricity and Water (MEW).
Sources explained this is part of the regular maintenance works carried out by the ministry to avoid sudden power cuts, especially during summer; in addition to enhancing electricity production and distribution.
