Police are accusing the man of stealing several vehicles in similar manner.
Covers stolen: Police are looking for unidentified persons stealing manhole covers in the Jaber Al-Ahmad area, reports Al-Rai daily.
Following the theft several citizens have expressed their resentment at the negligence shown by the Interior Ministry to arrest the suspects and the Ministry of Public Works for not protecting the lives of the residents of the area.
The residents added the manholes are wide open and both ministries have failed in their task to protect the people of the area.
Swindler held: Police have arrested a Kuwaiti man for robbing four compatriots to the tune of KD 350,000, reports Al-Anba daily.
The victim in their complaints said the swindler convinced them that he was director of a real estate company and received money from them after signing the contracts to buy real estate on their behalf but kept money for himself.
