Illicit sex, rape on rise as ‘moral index’ in sharp fall
KUWAIT CITY, Jan 28: Police are looking for an unidentified GCC youth for forcibly having sex with a Kuwaiti woman who is believed to be in her 30s, reports Annahar daily.
A security source said the woman in her complaint to the Hawalli Police Station said the youth, whom she knows, knocked violently at the door of her apartment.
Thinking he may be in trouble, she opened the door for him following which he pushed her, sexually molested her more than once and escaped after stealing her cell phone.
Tailor robbed: Police are looking for a Kuwaiti man and his wife for swindling an Asian tailor, reports Al-Rai daily.
A security source said, the tailor in his complaint to the Fahaheel Police Station said he stitched a special dress for the woman and the labor charges were KD 300.
The complainant added, the woman came with her husband and requested him to put the dress in the back seat of the car. The husband and the wife then got into their vehicle and drove off without paying the money.
The complainant has provided police with the license plate and the phone numbers of the Kuwaiti and his wife.
51 arrested: The Hawalli police during a crack down on residence and labor laws violators have arrested 51 people, reports Al-Anba daily.
Among those arrested are people wanted by law. All those arrested have been referred to the competent authorities.
Mugging foiled: Police are looking for four masked men for attempting to rob an Egyptian. The incident happened behind a church in Hawalli, reports Al-Rai daily.
The daily added when the suspects ‘attacked’ the Egyptian, he screamed for help.
