Fans call on KFA board to resign

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 19:  About 50 fans of the Kuwait national football team held a protest in front of the headquarters of Kuwait Football Association in Adailiya, responding to calls made on the social networking site Tweeter, demanding the head of the federation Sheikh Talal Al-Fahad to accept responsibility and submit his resignation after the national team failed to maintain their title in the 21st Gulf cup.
The fans held placards and chanted slogans demanding Sheikh Talal and other members of the board to resign due to continuous defeat the national team has endured under their leadership, citing the Asian cup, world cup qualifiers, Arab tournaments and West Asian tournaments, besides the 21st Gulf cup held in Manama, Bahrain.
