Ginger baked apples
Ingredients:
- 4 apples
- 1 tbsp chopped glacé ginger
- 100g white chocolate, finely chopped
- 4 ginger nut biscuits, crushed
- 2 tbsp plain flour
- 30g butter
- 300ml thickened cream, to serve
Method: Preheat oven to 180°C. Line an ovenproof dish with baking paper. Slice tops off apples, core and put in dish. Combine ginger and chocolate in a small bowl. Fill apples with ginger mixture. Combine biscuit and flour in a medium bowl. Rub in butter to form a crumble. Top apples with biscuit mixture. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until apples are tender. Serve with cream.
