My visa 18 has already been cancelled because I now have a work visa from Canada. I let my company cancel my visa in Kuwait because I was supposed to be leaving this month. But a problem exists and I will be required only after 3 months in Canada. Now I have an Article 14 residence which will expire after 1 week. Can I extend my Article 14 visa in Kuwait so at least I can stay longer with my husband? Where should I go and what do I need to do?

Answer: You have not said for how long you have had the Article 14 residence (temporary residence). If you have already been in the country for 3 months on the Article 14 residence, you will not get an extension.
But if you have had only one month on the Article 14 visa then your husband or the company you were serving with must approach the Immigration Department in your area to get another extension. It is very possible that the Immigration Department will agree to the request.
