Bedoun ties his sister to a gas cylinder

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 17: A Bedoun youth is wanted for detaining his sister inside a room and tying her hands to a gas cylinder with a shackle for more than 24 hours, reports Al-Anba daily.
The girl who’s in her 20s was accompanied by her father to lodge a complaint with officers in Jahra police station after calling the police earlier and firefighters rushing to the house to cut the shackle.

Unfit for consumption: The Nutrition Department in Hussein Makki Jomaa Hospital for treating cancer recently discovered some kinds of chicken are unsuitable for patients with cancer, reports Al-Rai daily quoting health sources.
The same sources explained the catering company breached the terms and conditions of their contract and supplied the unspecified chicken, which is not suitable for patients. They noted the hospital’s administration shall notify the relevant bodies in Ministry of Health and the Kuwait Municipality to take necessary action against the company in question.

‘We’ll not travel’: Some 100 passengers aboard the Iranian Airlines to Mashhad City in Iran in a protest refused to continue their journey after disembarking with 64 others to identify their luggage, reports Al-Rai daily.
Crew of the flight No. 4162 destined for Mashhad noticed the number of passengers on the data sheet was 167 and only 164 were aboard, so the safety team was informed and passengers were asked to disembark to identify their bags.
Security sources said the safety personnel did not notify the Civil Aviation Authority. This roused the anger of 100 passengers, including a standing MP, and they refused to travel. The plane took off with 64 passengers only, the sources reiterated.
