Sudanese shepherd kills Nepali in heated argument Telecom tower items stolen

KUWAIT CITY, July 22: A Sudanese shepherd in Wafra area murdered a Nepali shepherd two hours before Iftar. According to security sources, the shepherds were involved in an intense argument, which eventually developed into a physical fight. During the quarrel, the Sudanese lost his temper and stabbed the Nepali with a knife. He ran away after discovering the victim died. Director of Ahmadi Security Directorate Major General Ayed Abdullah and other high-ranking officials rushed to the location along with securitymen after receiving information about the murder. A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to find and arrest the suspect.

Telecom tower hit: 
The telecommunications tower of the Interior Ministry in Al-Soquaihiya, North Kuwait has been burgled and the thieves carted away its contents. Securitymen and a team from the Criminal Evidence Department were dispatched to the tower right after the Operations Room in the ministry received information on the burglary.  They lifted fingerprints to identify the thieves and the necessary steps are now being taken to arrest them.

Magic tools seized:
A Sudanese expatriate was arrested at Kuwait International Airport in possession of tools used for black magic and a certain quantity of mercury. According to security sources, after the suspect placed his luggage at the baggage counter, the customs officers carried out a body check on him to discover the black magic tools and mercury. They arrested him and referred him with the items to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against him.

Lankan beaten, robbed: An unknown individual assaulted a Sri Lankan man and robbed him of KD 23 and his mobile phone in Mahboula area. According to security sources, the victim was walking to a grocery when the unknown suspect stopped him, hit him and robbed him of his money and mobile phone before fleeing from the location. The victim went to the police station of the area and filed a case against the suspect. Securitymen took down the description of the suspect using which they are carrying out investigations to arrest the suspect.

Fire erupts in jail: Fire broke out in one of the cells in the Central Jail without causing casualties or injuries, only material losses. A security source revealed the management of the prison received information from an inmate that another prisoner had set fire to his blanket.  Securitymen rushed to the cell and quenched the fire before it spread to other parts of the jail.  No casualties or injuries were reported. A case was registered and investigations are underway to determine the inmate’s motive behind the deliberate burning of the blanket. 

Man hurt in mishap: An Egyptian expatriate sustained a head injury and fractured his arm in a hit-and-run accident in Fintas area. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information from a passerby about an individual hit by a vehicle on a road in Fintas area, securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location and referred the victim to Adan Hospital.
A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to arrest the driver of the vehicle.
