Pakistani woman jumps to her death in family row Mystery solved as ‘missing’ girl found staying in hotel with mom

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 12: Police have solved the mystery of the three-year-old girl, identified only as Zainab, who was reportedly kidnapped by unidentified persons, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
Intensive investigations conducted by securitymen revealed the toddler had not been kidnapped as it had been mentioned on the social networking websites. The daily added the girl was well and with her mother.
The investigations also revealed the Arab mother had a problem with her Kuwaiti husband and she took the girl with her and was staying in a hotel in Hawalli. Acting on such information, police rushed to the hotel and seized the mother and the daughter and ‘returned’ them to the Kuwaiti.
A security source said it was not a case of kidnapping and moreover, the Kuwaiti man filed a missing persons report against his wife.

Woman jumps to death:  A Pakistani woman who is believed to be in her 40s recently ended her life by jumping from the balcony of her sixth floor apartment in Khaitan, reports Al-Rai daily.
Acting on information police and paramedics rushed to the scene of the incident and found the woman in a pool of blood.
The woman was reportedly involved in an argument with her husband. According to the man there was nothing special in the argument. He called it another argument another day. He added, after the argument he left her alone and went to his room.
He told police he learned about the ‘suicide’ when his children - one 8-years-old and the other 9, told him that the mother had jumped from the balcony.
The corpse of the victim has been referred to Forensics.

Man found dead: The remains of a Kuwaiti citizen have been referred to Forensics to identify the cause of death, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to security sources the remains were partially decomposed. A Lebanese man became curious when he got the rotten stench from a car and when he peeped inside he saw the man slumped over a seat.
He then called the Operations Department of the Interior Ministry.

Lankan held in forgery: Police have arrested a Sri Lankan for forging a driving license, reports Al-Anba daily.
The forgery was discovered when the Sri Lankan was involved in a serious traffic violation and taken to the Rawda Police Station. At the police station the man’s sponsor presented his Civil ID and police discovered the photo on the driving licence was different from the Civil ID.
