Indian held for drinking hangs himself to death

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 12: A 32-year-old Indian expatriate committed suicide inside the bathroom of Al-Zour Police Station after he was arrested for consumption of liquor.
According to security sources, securitymen arrested the drunk expatriate during their patrol duty and referred him to the police station.
However, the latter hanged himself using his shirt inside the bathroom of the police station.
His corpse was referred to the Forensics Department and a case was registered for investigations.

Thieves nabbed: A Kuwaiti citizen, two Bedoun, a GCC national and two Arab nationals were arrested recently for breaking into a house in Jabriya and stealing valuables.
According to press statement issued by the Ministry of Interior, officers from General Department for Criminal Evidences carried out investigations for three months to find these suspects after they received information about the incident.
Sources explained that the armed suspects jumped the wall surrounding a house in Jabriya and trespassed into the house. They locked the housemaids inside a room after threatening to hurt them using knives. They then stole several items in the house including expensive clocks, gold accessories, electrical and electronic appliances, mobile phones and a vehicle.
After three months of investigations, officers finally managed to identify the suspects and obtained information about them to confirm their act of burglary.
After taking necessary legal measures, they arrested the suspects and raided their houses in Sulaibiya, Khaitan and Qairawan.
During interrogations, the suspects admitted that they burgled the house and sold the contents outside the country, after which they distributed the money among themselves. The housemaids were summoned to identify the suspects. After they confirmed the suspects, the latter were referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them.
