Bedoun youth attempts to rape Kuwaiti woman

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 6:Police have arrested an unidentified bedoun youth for sneaking into the apartment of a young Kuwaiti woman living in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, reports Al-Rai daily.
The young woman in her complaint to the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Police Station said she befriended the youth and the latter under the influence of alcohol sneaked into her apartment and attempted to rape her.
When police arrested the youth, they found he was wanted by law in connection with several crimes which were committed when he was drunk.
Sources said at the time of arrest also the youth was high on alcohol.

Woman swindled: A Kuwaiti woman has filed a complaint with the Salhiya Police Station accusing the owner of a real estate company of swindling her, reports Al-Shahed daily.
In her complaint, the woman after she read an advertisement in one of the local dailies that the company was selling apartments in Salmiya for KD 20,000 each, she visited the real estate office, signed a contract and paid the money.
She added, she discovered later that the same apartment was sold for more than one person.
The suspect is believed to be a criminal and is already behind bars.

Syrian beaten, robbed: Police are looking for two unidentified persons for assaulting and robbing a Syrian man, reports Al-Anba daily.
The Syrian in his complaint to the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Police Station said the incident happened when he was parking his vehicle near his home. The two men got off their car, beat him and stole his money (KD 900) and drove off in a car.
The Syrian has provided police the plate number of the suspects’ car.
Meanwhile, an Asian man has filed a complaint with the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Police Station accusing three people of impersonating police and stealing from him KD 200, reports Al-Anba daily.
