60 bottles of home brew found on Bangladeshi liquor peddlers US citizen nabbed in bootlegging

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 3:  Ahmadi securitymen have arrested three Bangladeshis for trading in locally-brewed alcohol with 60 bottles in their possession, reports Al-Rai daily.
While patrolling the area, the securitymen noticed the suspicious movement of the suspects, so they asked them to stop for routine inspection.  This led to the discovery of 60 bottles of local alcohol ready for sale.
A case was registered and the suspects were referred to the concerned security department for prosecution.

US bootlegger held: The Nugra police have arrested an unidentified US citizen for bootlegging, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to security sources police acting on a tip-off sent a police agent to buy bottles of booze from the suspect and caught him red-handed in a parking lot of a commercial complex in Nugra. The contraband and the suspect have been referred to the competent authorities.

Heroin seized: The Kuwait International Airport police have arrested a Kuwaiti man for possessing heroin and mental effects from a Kuwaiti man who was at a café in the area, reports Al-Shahed daily.
According to security sources the man, who is believed to be in his 20s, behaved abnormal and when the police asked him for his ID he looked disillusioned.
Police then checked the man and seized from him four sachets of heroine and drug pills.
The suspect has been referred to the concerned authorities.

Two held with drugs: Police have arrested a Kuwaiti man and a Tunisian for possessing 250 grams of hashish and a bottle of imported booze, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The daily quoting security sources said the suspects were arrested in the Ahmadi governorate by a police patrol.
The daily added, when the patrolmen ordered the man behind the wheel to pull over, they tried in vain to escape.
Police chased and arrested the men. The contraband and the suspects have been handed over to the authorities.

Thieves rob tent items: A Kuwaiti man has filed a complaint with a police station accusing three unidentified thieves of breaking into his tent in Al-Jowaisan and stealing valuables, reports Al-Anba daily.
According to the man, he called the guard of the camp several times and the latter did not respond. This made him suspicious and he rushed to the camp to see what was happening there and found the guard in chains. The thieves have reportedly escaped with electrical appliances and other valuables.

Pakistani beaten, robbed: Police are looking for three unidentified thieves for beating a Pakistani man and robbing his money and cell phone, reports Al-Anba daily.
In his complaint to the police, the man said he was on his way home when three police impersonators riding in car blocked his way and demanded to see his ID.
As he pulled the wallet out, one of them demanded to hand it over to him and when the man refused they beat him causing him fractures.
Then they grabbed the wallet from his hands containing KD 120 and escaped.
The victim has submitted a medical report showing injuries on his body.
