Broker held for selling illusory flats to Kuwaitis Wanted Kuwaiti, 3 Asians arrested

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 3: Police from the Hawalli governorate have arrested a broker (owner of real estate office) for committing fraud and swindling citizens by selling them illusory apartments, reports Al-Rai daily.
The arrest came following three different complaints filed by three citizens with the Hawalli Police Station.
Each of them said the suspect took KD 4,000 in advance and the balance money to be paid at a later date.

Four arrested: Police from the Capital governorate have arrested an unidentified Kuwaiti and three Asians who were wanted by law, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The Kuwaiti was arrested on Istiqlal Street. When police checked his ID they discovered the 40-year-old man had been sentenced in absentia in connection with KD 28,000.
The three Asians were wanted because their sponsors had filed three different ‘absconders’ reports on them at different police stations.
The suspects have been referred to the concerned authorities.

Docus ‘forged’: Officers at South Surra police station apprehended an Asian for submitting forged documents to a bank in an attempt to purchase a car, reports Al-Rai daily.
The suspect was arrested in front of his house after security operatives had been notified about the incident. However, he denied the accusation alleging the official in charge of the transaction had perpetrated the act.  During investigation, the bank official denied responsibility. A case was registered.

Owner cheated: The owner of a company in Mishref has filed a complaint with the area Police Station accusing an Egyptian director of finance of betrayal of trust, reports Al-Anba daily. The owner said the suspect has cheated him to the tune of KD 4,000.
