Filipino hoax caller claims bomb at consulate Man to be referred to Public Prosecution

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 1: A Filipino expatriate was arrested recently for making a hoax call to the Philippines Consulate regarding a bomb inside the consulate.

According to security sources, securitymen and officers from Bomb Squad Department as well as paramedics rushed to the location when they received information from the consulate about the call.
They examined the location but did not find any explosives. After carrying out necessary investigations, Faiha securitymen arrested the informant who is a Filipino expatriate.

During interrogations, he revealed that he confessed that he had made the hoax call.

Necessary action was taken against him and he was detained in police custody to be referred to the Public Prosecution.
