Bedouns demand human, civil rights
KUWAIT CITY, Feb 1: A number of Bedouns gathered in front of Al-Sha’bi Mosque in Taima area of Jahra after Friday prayer demanding human and civil rights. The sit-in was over before the Special Forces interfered.
The Director of Jahra Security Directorate Major General Ibrahim Al-Tarrah negotiated with the protesters and they agreed to disperse.
However, some of them decided to organize a short rally on Al-Najashi Street, amid a large security presence.
