MP insults officers: Two traffic officers have lodged a complaint at Jabriya Police Station against an MP, accusing him of insulting them while on duty, reports Al-Rai daily quoting a security source.
He revealed that while the traffic officers were patrolling Jabriya, they noticed a youth driving his sports vehicle in a reckless manner and performing stunts on the road, endangering the lives of other road users. When the officers demanded the youth to pull over, he sped up. They chased the youth until he parked his vehicle in front of a house in the area.

Car thief caught: Police have arrested an unidentified person for stealing two cars (one of them antique) — the antique car belonging to artist Saleh Al-Mullah and the other an unidentified Kuwaiti woman, reports Al-Anba daily.
The suspect was taken into custody by the Hawalli police while driving in the area because he looked nervous when a police car passed by.
Police checked the car plate number and discovered it belongs to the artist. When the youth was taken in for interrogation he admitted to stealing the car of the artist and abandoning it in a desert.
He also told police he stole the car which he was driving and placed the stolen number plate of the artist’s car on it.
He later guided police to the place where he had abandoned the artist’s car.
