Egyptian held for sending indecent photos to Moroccan woman

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 25: An Egyptian expatriate was arrested recently for harassing a Moroccan woman for friendship and sending her inappropriate pictures and messages.
Reportedly, the Moroccan woman filed a case at Salmiya Police Station against the suspect and informed securitymen that he called her and requested for friendship with her. However, when she refused his friendship and cut the call, he sent her indecent pictures and messages.
Securitymen noted the mobile phone number of the suspect and checked his details to discover he is an Egyptian expatriate who was working in a textile shop.
Securitymen arrested the suspect. During investigations, he revealed that he was intending to have a relationship with her. He was detained in police custody to be referred to the Public Prosecution.

15-year-old girl missing: A 15-year-old Syrian girl was reported as missing by her father at Khaitan Police Station recently.
According to security sources, the father of the missing victim informed securitymen that his daughter failed to return home after she left the house in Khaitan 12 hours back. He stressed there were no reasons or family disputes that would have provoked the victim to run away.
Securitymen took down the victim’s description and circulated it among the patrol teams.
A missing case was registered and investigations are ongoing to find the victim.

2 arrested for alcohol: A Kuwaiti citizen and a GCC national were arrested recently in Salmiya for consumption and possession of liquor.
According to security sources, while Hawally securitymen were patrolling Salmiya, they noticed a vehicle being driven in an unsteady manner and stopped it for investigations. They checked the details of the two occupants and discovered the driver is a Kuwaiti citizen while his passenger is a GCC national.
Detecting the smell of liquor from them, they checked the vehicle and found a bottle of imported liquor.
They were arrested and referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them.

Man held over ‘shooting’: The Highway Police have arrested an unidentified man who was wanted by law in a shooting incident, reports Al-Shahed daily.
According to security sources the suspect and his friends were ordered to pull over for speeding along the King Fahd Expressway and while checking his name on computer, the police discovered the man was wanted by law.
