Handbag of Kuwaiti woman snatched in City market Asian shot, gold stolen

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 24: An unknown individual snatched the handbag of a Kuwaiti woman, which contained KD 300, while she was in a market in Capital Governorate.
According to security sources, while the Kuwaiti woman was walking in the market, an unknown individual snatched her handbag and ran away.
A case was registered at the nearest police station and the suspect’s description was noted and circulated among the patrol teams.

Asian shot, gold stolen: An unknown masked individual recently shot an Asian expatriate who works in a gold jewelry shop in Hawally and stole two rings before fleeing from the location.
According to security sources, the suspect entered the jewelry shop in Hawally and pulled out a weapon. He threatened the employees of the shop with the weapon and ordered them to give him the jewelry. While the employees were trying to negotiate with him, the suspect shot one of them twice on the shoulder and leg. He managed to steal two rings before running away from the location.
When Hawally securitymen received information about the incident, they rushed to the location and referred the injured victim to Mubarak Hospital for treatment.
Officers from Criminal Investigation Department rushed to the location to lift fingerprints from the site and collect other evidences. Securitymen obtained records of the CCTV cameras installed inside and outside the shop.
A case was registered and referred to Hawally Security Department where an extensive investigation by Hawally securitymen led by Colonel Abdul Rahman Al-Suhail has been started to find the unknown suspect.

‘And it’s all gone’: An unknown individual stole the contents of a Kuwaiti citizen’s camp in Jula’ia.
According to security sources, the Kuwaiti citizen filed a case at Abdullah Port Police Station against the unknown suspect and informed securitymen that the contents of his camp including furniture and equipments were missing.
Investigations are ongoing to arrest the suspect and retrieve the missing items.

Two held drunk: Two Kuwaiti citizens were arrested recently in Salmiya for consumption and possession of liquor.
According to security sources, when securitymen were patrolling Salmiya, they noticed a vehicle with two occupants being driven in a reckless manner and stopped it for investigations. They checked the details of the two occupants and discovered they are Kuwaiti citizens.
Sensing their disoriented state, they checked the vehicle and found liquor bottles.
The suspects were arrested and referred with the items to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them.
