Hashish found with Kuwaiti, Palestinian drug traffickers

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 23: The Ahmadi police have arrested two people – a Kuwaiti and a Palestinian – for trafficking in drugs, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
A police patrol suspected two people riding in a car on the Fahaheel Motorway and ordered them to stop, but the men disregarded and continued driving.
Police then chased the men, searched their car and seized 1.5 kilos of hashish which was hidden under the front seat.
The men and hashish have been referred to the General Department for Drug Control.

Drug seized: The Jahra police arrested a Kuwaiti man for possessing and consuming drugs, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
Patrolmen on duty in Kabd suspected a person walking with a bag because he looked disoriented.
Police stopped the man and checked his bag and found a number of syringes, some of them ready for use and others with traces of heroin. Police also seized from him narcotic pills.

Oblivious to fact:  Police have arrested a Kuwaiti man for breaking into the home of an Egyptian family and sleeping in the reception room, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The daily added when she saw the intruder she took the children and locked herself in one of the rooms and telephoned her husband and the latter called the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior.
Police rushed to the house and seized the man who was under the influence of drugs. According to an eyewitness the man also forced open the door of an adjacent shop. It is not known if he stole anything from the shop.
