Jewelry firm sales rep wins allowances Man wanted in 5 cases nabbed

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 22: The Administrative Court has ordered one jewelry company to pay its sales representative a sum of KD 18,000.
Lawyer of the sales representative Attorney Sultan Al-Ajmi argued that his client started working for the company since Jan 1, 1997 as sales representative of gold with monthly salary of KD 650 until he was terminated without notice on Sept 15, 2011.
According to the lawyer, his client was not paid his end of service benefit, in addition to allowance for holidays, overtime, traveling ticket and health insurance, besides Hajj allowance, as per labor law of private sector.

Wanted man held: A Kuwaiti citizen in his 30s was arrested recently for his involvement in five criminal cases.
Reportedly, while securitymen were patrolling Qas’r at night, they noticed an individual sitting inside a vehicle that was parked in front of a house.
They checked his details and discovered he is a Kuwaiti citizen in his 30s who was involved in five criminal cases.
He was arrested and referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against him.

Home items stolen: An unknown individual broke into the house of a Kuwaiti citizen in Adan and stole several electronic items.
Reportedly, when the Kuwaiti citizen returned home with his family, he was shocked to find the front door broken. He checked the house and discovered that some electronic items were missing.
He filed a case at the nearest police station against the unknown suspect. Securitymen are carrying out investigations to arrest the suspect.

Hunt for cheat: An unidentified businessman, through his lawyer, has filed a complaint with the Salhiya Police Station accusing a citizen of fraud and breach of trust, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The lawyer said his client had given power of attorney to his relative, the suspect, to sell real estate in Salhiya. The relative sold the real estate for KD 3.5 million and transferred KD 2.5 million into the account of his client who lives abroad and kept KD 1 million for himself and disappeared.
Police are looking for the cheat.

Chinese arrested: Police: have arrested an unidentified Chinese man for stealing money, reports Al-Shahed daily.
According to reports the Chinese would enter a bank and ask for change in small denomination. After receiving the money he would pretend the cashier has made a mistake and in this way he managed to collect a lot of money.
When word spread around about the activity of the suspect, police viewed the CCTV camera of the banks where the incident had occurred and saw the man hiding money.
Police have recovered KD 1,000 from the man and referred him to the authorities for interrogation.

Indian expat mugged: An unknown individual recently waylaid an Indian expatriate and robbed him of his mobile phone and wallet which contained KD 95.
Following the incident, the victim rushed to Farwaniya Police Station and filed a case against the unknown suspect, informing securitymen that the suspect was in casual wear when he attacked him and robbed him of his mobile phone and his wallet which contained KD 95.
Securitymen noted the description of the suspect and are carrying out investigations to arrest him.
