Two Indian expats held with local brew

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 21: Two Indian expatriates were arrested recently in Mahboula for possession of six big bottles of locally brewed liquor.
Reportedly, while securitymen were patrolling the area, they noticed two expatriates stopping their vehicle behind a bus parked in an open area. They approached the vehicle and checked their IDs to discover they are two Indian expatriates. Checking the vehicle, they found six big bottles of locally brewed liquor.
They were arrested and referred with the liquor bottles to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them.
Meanwhile, a Syrian expatriate was arrested recently for stealing the tires of the vehicles that were parked in Jahra Industrial Area and selling the tires in Amghara Scrapyard.
Furthermore, Capital securitymen arrested a Kuwaiti citizen on Arabian Gulf Street for drunk driving and possession of imported liquor bottles.
He was referred to the police station of the area for legal action against him.
