Egyptian held smuggling drugs Man caught driving drunk

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 19:  An Egyptian was arrested at Kuwait International Airport for trying to smuggle narcotic pills and hashish into the country.
Customs officers at the airport got suspicious when they noticed the agitated appearance of the Egyptian upon approaching the customs desk.  This has prompted the officers to check his luggage thoroughly, leading to the discovery of the narcotic pills and hashish. 
A case was registered and the Egyptian was referred to the relevant security department for prosecution. 

Drunkard nabbed: Hawally securitymen arrested an unidentified man in Salmiya for consuming alcohol.
While patrolling the area, the securitymen noticed the erratic movement of a vehicle so they signaled the driver to pull over.  When they demanded for his identification documents, they realized he was under the influence of alcohol.  They then searched his car where they found a bottle of liquor.
A case was registered and the man was referred to the concerned security department for the necessary legal action.

Gun stolen:  A citizen filed a case against an unknown person who stole a licensed gun from his car which was parked in Firdous.
The complainant told police he found the window of his car broken so he immediately checked the contents.  He later found out the thief took his licensed gun.
Investigations are ongoing to identify the culprit and to take the necessary legal action against him.
