45 held in raids for immoral acts Citizen sends porno photos on woman’s cell

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 18: Acting on tip-off personnel from the Vice Squad of the Ministry of Interior raided several apartments in Khaitan and Farwaniya and arrested 45 people — men and women — of all nationalities for indulging in immoral activities, reports Al-Rai daily.
All those arrested have been referred to the General Department for Criminal Investigation.

Porno photos sent: A Kuwaiti woman, whose identity has not been disclosed, has filed a complaint with the police accusing a male compatriot of sending her porno photos on her cell phone, reports Al-Rai daily.
The complainant said the man is also sending her vulgar messages on her cell phone, in spite of her warning the man several times before.
The complaint has been filed with the Qairawan Police Station. Police are looking for the suspect.

Sister beaten up: A young Kuwaiti woman has filed a complaint with the police accusing her brother of beating her and causing fractures in her arm, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
In her complaint the woman said he accused her of spoiling the reputation of the family and beat her although she pleaded that she had done nothing wrong.
The police will summon the suspect for interrogation.

Car stolen: A Kuwaiti man has filed a complaint with the Khaitan Police Station accusing his Syrian friend of stealing his car, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to the complainant the Syrian asked to borrow his car and the latter neither returned the car nor answers his calls.
The complainant has provided police with the car plate number and the description of his friend.


Shooting ‘probed’: The Jahra police have opened a wide ranging investigation into the shooting incident in Jahra, following complaints unidentified people have been randomly shooting in the air in Kabd, reports Al-Qabas daily.
According to security sources, the complaint has been filed by a policeman. He added, someone also fired at his vehicle while he was driving in the area.

Official insulted: The Ahmadi Police Station has filed a complaint with the Public Prosecution accusing an unidentified citizen of insulting an official on duty at one of the government departments, reports Annahar daily.
According to security sources the incident happened when the suspect jumped the queue and when told to wait for his turn, reportedly got angry and insulted the official.

ATV stolen: A Kuwait man, whose identity has not been disclosed, has filed a complaint with the Khaitan police accusing an unidentified person of stealing his ATV (all-terrain-vehicle) which was parked in front of his home, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
Police are looking for the thief.
