3 students attack 13-year-old, citizen attempts suicide’

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 10: A 13-year-old student filed a case at Adan Police Station against three other students from his school in Adan, accusing them of attacking him after school hours.
According to security sources, the victim informed securitymen that the three students had waited for him and after he left the school, they attacked him over some former disputes between them.
He sustained injuries and rushed to Adan Police Station to file a case against the suspects. Securitymen will summon them to the police station for investigations.

Police arrest wanted citizen: A Kuwaiti citizen who was wanted by law for his involvement in a drug case and two criminal cases was arrested recently in Farwaniya.
According to security sources, while securitymen were patrolling Farwaniya at night, they noticed an individual stopping his vehicle in front of a grocery shop and stepping out of his vehicle. However, as soon as he noticed the patrol vehicle, he immediately stepped back into his vehicle and closed the door in an attempt to escape from the securitymen.
Securitymen approached him and checked his details to discover he is a Kuwaiti citizen in his 30s who is wanted by law for his involvement in a drug case and two criminal cases.
He was arrested and referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against him.

Good samaritan injured: An Arab woman sustained injuries when she was hit on the face with the bag while trying to settle a quarrel that occurred between two women inside a commercial complex in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area.
The Arab woman filed a case at Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Police Station and submitted a medical report indicating she sustained injuries. She informed securitymen that when she entered a shop to purchase a bag, she was shocked to see two women fighting with each other inside the shop. While trying to settle the quarrel, one of the suspects hit her on the face with her bag and they both fled from the location.
She provided securitymen with the descriptions of the suspects and investigations are ongoing to arrest them.

Bangladeshi’s KD 800 stolen: Police are looking for four unidentified persons for beating a Bangladeshi man and robbing his money, reports Annahar daily.
In his complaint to the Mangaf Police Station, the victim said the suspects grabbed him while he was walking in the area and took him to a deserted spot, beat him and stole his wallet containing his Civil ID and KD 800.

Family rescued: Acting on information firemen rushed Fahaheel and rescued a family when their apartment caught fire, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The daily quoting fire sources said the members of the family were treated on site by paramedics for asphyxiation.
No human casualties have been reported.
