Kuwaiti held for punching wife Girl threatens murder, abduction for cash

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 10: A Kuwaiti citizen was arrested recently for punching his wife during a quarrel between them inside their house in Salwa.
The Kuwaiti woman rushed to Salwa Police Station to file a case against her husband and she submitted a medical report that indicated the bruises she sustained during the quarrel. She informed securitymen that her husband punched her hard, causing her to blackout for few minutes.
Securitymen summoned the suspect to Salwa Police Station, where he confirmed that he hit her during a quarrel. Necessary action was taken against him.
Meanwhile, a young unidentified girl used a pistol for threatening to kill her mother and kidnap the son of her sister if the mother refused to give her KD 150 within 24 hours. She had purchased the pistol for KD 50, which she placed in her bag before leaving the house.
A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to arrest her.
Meanwhile, an Egyptian expatriate sustained injuries when an unknown individual attacked him on the road recently in Mahboula.
According to security sources, the Egyptian expatriate rushed to the police station and filed a case against the unknown suspect, informing securitymen that they were involved in a quarrel prior to the incident and after the quarrel, they went out on the road where the suspect stopped his vehicle and punched him hard before fleeing from the location.
The Egyptian expatriate submitted a medical report to indicate the injuries he sustained and provided securitymen with the description of the suspect’s vehicle.
Investigations are ongoing to arrest the unknown suspect.
