Filipinos held gambling

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 26: Securitymen from the Criminal Investigation Department have arrested three Filipinos for gambling inside an apartment in Hawalli, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The daily said police acting on a tip-off got a warrant issued by the Public Prosecution and raided the apartment.
Securitymen have confiscated from the apartment a roulette table and other tools used for gambling.

Phones, cash stolen: Police are looking for an unidentified burglar for breaking into a cell phones shop in Sharq and stealing expensive mobile phones worth KD 1,500, and KD 50 cash, reports Al-Rai daily.
The owner of the shop said he was shocked when he found the locks on the shop door broken and the mobiles and money missing.
Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints to identify the culprit.

Car taken at knifepoint: Police are looking for three unidentified persons for forcing a Kuwaiti man to stop in the middle of the road and stealing his 2013 model Jeep which he had bought a few days ago, reports Al-Rai daily.
The man has filed a complaint with the Al-Riqei Police Station. In his complaint the man said the suspects were armed with a knife and threatened to kill him.
After few hours, police found the Jeep in an open ground in Sulaibiya.
Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints to identify the culprit.

Woman’s car stolen: Police are looking for an unidentified person for stealing the car of a Kuwaiti woman, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The incident happened when the woman left the car in operation and entered a bank in Jahra to withdraw money from an ATM machine.
