Goods stolen sold in Friday market Gang held for beating guards, stealing items

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 25: Police have arrested a seven-man gang for beating guards and stealing ATVs, electrical appliances and other stuffs from camps and selling them in the Friday Market, reports Al-Shahed daily.
Following complaints filed by several victims, intensive police investigations led to the arrest of three thieves who later guided securitymen to their four accomplices.
The suspects have been referred to authorities.
Meanwhile, police are looking for a hit-and-run motorist for running over a Yemeni person. The mishap happened after the man left the hotel following a meeting of GCC senior officials in the Regency Hotel, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The Yemeni was crossing the Al-Bida’a Roundabout and was on his way to the hotel. A Kuwaiti who witnessed the accident called the police. The Yemeni has been admitted to a hospital with serious injuries.
In another story, police are looking for some unidentified youths for breaking the glass of electrical escalator inside the 360 Mall, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. The youths reportedly escaped before the arrival of police.
