Bedoun refused entry living in car on border

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 23: Officers at the Salmi border post recently prevented a bedoun holding passport under Article (17) from entering the country because the validity of the passport has expired, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The bedoun is now living inside his car in no man’s land between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. The father who is an employee in the Ministry of Defence has appealed to senior officials in the ministry to end the sufferings of his son and allow him to enter.

German goes to France: The Criminal Investigation Department has issued a decision to deport a German citizen to France because he is a resident of Paris, reports Al-Shahed daily quoting informed security sources.
The German works as a photographer for an unidentified newspaper and was arrested for leading a demonstration.
The sources said the German violated the law by participating in the demonstration and photographing the event without obtaining permission from the relevant authorities.

Family row led to shooting: Family problems led to shooting at a Kuwaiti citizen, reports Al-Rai daily quoting informed security sources in Egypt.
Earlier it was reported the man is married to an Egyptian woman and while he was driving, the wife accompanied by her brother, blocked his car, stabbed and shot at him and escaped.
The husband who survived the attack has provided police with information about the car, the wife and her brother.
