Porn stuff seized Kuwaiti accusing his Bangladeshi driver for stealing 4000 KD

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 19: Inspectors from the Ministry of Information during a surprise inspection campaign in Al-Riqei are said to have administratively closed three shops for violating intellectual property laws, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The employees in the shop were caught red-handed copying CDs and DVDs.
The inspectors have also allegedly confiscated a large number of CDs containing porn stuff and taken into custody eight employees — Arabs and Asians — and referred them to the authorities.

Swindler nabbed: Police have arrested a Kuwaiti man for swindling citizens and expatriates to the tune of more than KD 13,000, reports Al-Rai daily.
The suspect reportedly lured his victim to join profitable business ventures and escaped with the money and at other time impersonated police and took money from them after accusing them of violating laws and threatening them to report him to the authorities.
After the victims filed complaints with the police, intensive investigations led to the arrest of the fraudster. He was arrested and whisked away for interrogation while he was on his way to visit his sister.

Maid leaves home: Police are looking for a housemaid for stealing jewelry worth KD 6,000, KD 65 in cash and the family passports from the home of her Lebanese sponsor, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The sponsor has filed a complaint with the Maidan Hawalli Police Station. In his complaint he said when he arrived home he found the maid missing. She had allegedly left the children home alone and escaped.

KD 4,000 stolen: A Kuwaiti man has filed a complaint with the Abdullah Al-Mubarak Police Station accusing his Bangladeshi driver of stealing KD 4,000, reports Al-Rai daily. Police are looking for the suspect.

Cell phones in jail: The Central Prison administration during a surprise inspection campaign has reportedly seized six cell phones, 5 SIM cards and two chargers, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
The contraband was found hidden in secret places between a wall and an air-conditioner opening. The authorities are investigating how the contraband found its way inside the facility.
