Pakistani trucker buries alive Indian expat

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 18: An Indian expatriate died when the Pakistani driver of a heavy vehicle unloaded heaps of sand, which the vehicle was carrying, over the victim in Abdullah Port Area.
According to security sources, when the Pakistani driver of a heavy vehicle, which was carrying sand, unloaded the sand, he did not notice the Indian victim sitting behind the heavy vehicle and the sand fell over the latter.
The driver immediately informed the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior. Securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location and examined the victim to discover he was dead.
The corpse was referred to the Forensics Department and necessary action was taken against the driver. A case was registered for investigations.
Meanwhile, an unknown individual set a vehicle on fire in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Area.
Firefighters rushed to the location when they received information about a vehicle on fire and extinguished the fire before it spread to other nearby vehicles. No casualties were reported.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the fire was intentimally set. A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to arrest the suspect.
