Foreign liquor found on drunk Kuwaiti motorist

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 17: Securitymen from the Adan Police Station have arrested a Kuwaiti man for driving under the influence of alcohol and possessing 10 bottles of imported alcohol, reports Al-Shahed daily.
A security source said the man was arrested for reckless driving and police found he was under the influence of alcohol.
The drunkard is believed to be a relative of the former undersecretary of a ‘service ministry’.

Thieves caught: Police have arrested two Syrians for robbing expatriates, reports Al-Anba daily.
The arrest came when a Syrian man filed a complaint with the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Police Station accusing two unidentified persons of attacking him with a stun gun and stealing his cell phone and money.
The complainant also provided police details of the car and the suspects which helped police arrest one of the suspects.
During interrogation the thief admitted to the charge and gave police information about his cousin and also led police to the place where he had hidden the stolen cell phone.
During interrogation they are said to have admitted to committing several thefts.

Ex-MP cheated:  Osama Al-Munawer, MP from the annulled 2012 National Assembly has filed a complaint with the Keifan Police Station accusing a compatriot owner of real estate office of swindling him, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The complainant said he gave KD 50,000 to the office to buy him a plot of land in the Sultanate of Oman and signed a contract with him, but the man is said to have cheated him.
A case of betrayal of trust has been filed against the man.
