Kuwait police nab Sudanese man wanted by Interpol for murder Immigration employee held for carrying out illegal transactions

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 12: The Jahra police have arrested a Sudanese man who was wanted by Interpol for murdering a lieutenant colonel in his home country, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The suspect has been handed over to the concerned authorities to complete extradition procedures.
Meanwhile, personnel from the General Immigration Department have arrested a Kuwaiti employee working at the Citizen’s Service Centre in the Mubarak Al-Kabir governorate for issuing residence permits for persons without the knowledge of the department, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The arrest came when a Kuwaiti man discovered he was the sponsor of a housemaid and he had no knowledge about it.
Securitymen identified the employee who had completed the transaction and took him into custody for interrogation. The employee admitted to receiving money for completing illegal transactions.

Forged passports used: Four Bangladeshi expatriates were arrested recently at Kuwait International Airport for attempting to enter the country using forged passports, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The suspects have been referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them.
