Kuwaiti held for ‘shooting’

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 10: A Kuwaiti citizen has been arrested for causing panic among the residents of Jabriya by shooting randomly, reports Al-Shahed daily.
According to security sources, a Kuwaiti passerby managed to control the shooter and confiscate the weapon, after which he contacted the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior.
Securitymen rushed to the location and the Kuwaiti passerby handed over the weapon to them. The suspect tried to run away but securitymen managed to arrest him.
He was referred with the weapon to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.

Six Kuwaiti citizens, two Syrian expatriates, a Bedoun and a German expatriate were arrested recently for organizing riots and demonstrations at different areas of the country, reports Al-Shahed daily.
They were referred to the General Department for Criminal Evidences for necessary legal action.
In another development, a Qatari citizen was caught on camera participating in the ‘Nation’s Dignity’ rally recently, which was organized in protest against the amendment of the voting system to a ‘one man one vote’ system, reports Al-Shahid daily.
The picture of the vehicle with Qatari number plate was published by the daily.
