2 Kuwaitis attack Bedoun youth with stones

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 7: A Bedoun youth sustained injuries and bruises when two Kuwaiti citizens attacked and stoned him in Qas’r, Jahra recently.
When the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information from a passerby about a public brawl near a cooperative society in Qas’r, securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location.
Paramedics referred the victim to Adan Hospital for treatment while securitymen arrested the two Kuwaiti suspects.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the two parties were involved in former disputes and while the victim was on his way to the cooperative society, the suspects intercepted him and stoned him, leading to a public brawl between them.
A case was registered and further investigations in this regard are ongoing.

Radar used to check ‘speed’: Hawally Traffic Department issued 147 citations during a recent campaign conducted on Al-Khattabi Road using Radar, as the motorists drove beyond the speed limit. They also impounded and towed 10 vehicles to the garages of the Interior Ministry.
An Interior Ministry press release said the campaign was part of the continual follow-up of the traffic situation in the country, as the ministry is keen on deterring traffic violations in the country.   
Security Media Department urges citizens and residents to comply with traffic rules and regulations for their own safety, while avoiding punishment.

3 bottles of liquor seized: Securitymen apprehended a citizen with an Asian expatriate in possession of three bottles of imported liquor in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area.   
The suspects aroused suspicion of special tasks officers touring the area, and they were ordered to stop for checking, but the suspects became jittery while the officers were checking their civil IDs, prompting the officers to conduct a search inside their vehicle where bottles of liquor were found.
The suspects were arrested and referred with the contraband to the concerned authorities.
