Al-Kharafi requests PM to select efficient government Al-Maasouma hails voters of all 5 constituencies

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 7: Former parliament speaker Jassem Al-Kharafi has requested HH the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak to select efficient government that is capable of shouldering the resp-onsibility particularly under the current circumstances when the nation has selected its lawmakers, reports Al-Anba daily.
Al-Kharafi said this during a reception event held recently by MP Dr Maasouma Al-Mubarak who represents the First Constituency in the National Assembly.
MP Al-Mubarak said the victory achieved in the recent parliamentary elections defeats those who randomly raise doubts about the loyalty of citizens.
She also hailed the voters of the five constituencies who sought diligently to achieve the desire of HH the Amir by participating in the elections, particularly those from the First Constituency whose participation percentage was the highest.
She stressed the necessity of dealing with cases decisively and seriously, stressing HH the Amir and the citizens will not be disappointed about this parliament as it is capable of shouldering the responsibility efficiently.
Meanwhile, the government expresses resentment on the actions of Islamic Constitution Movement (ICM) that purportedly has been inciting chaos using its right hand-the Social Reform Society (SRC) to dent the reputation of the government and political leadership in front of Kuwaitis, reports Al-Shahed daily.
A source explained the government stood firm in the past, so as to protect the reputation of non-governmental organizations, charitable organizations and all citizens, when the US accused the SRC of terrorism. He said the society did not reciprocate the position, except for trying to topple the government by supporting chaos to provoke insecurity in the country.
He indicated the Kuwaiti government is now ready to remove the lid that covers the society from now on, because members of the society have been using the social network sites to incite the public against government. He accused the society of exploiting some immature youths for bad objectives. He reiterated the new government will be decisive in dealing with the ICM to serve as deterrent to others who might be nursing similar ambitions.
