Female student accuses fellow student of raping her 18-year-old citizen held for running over Private Forces officer

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 6: A female secondary school student has filed a complaint at Mubarak Al-Kabeer Police Station against a fellow student who allegedly raped her.
The complainant told police the suspect deceived her and then took her to an apartment where he allegedly carried out the crime. The securitymen immediately conducted investigations which revealed that the two students are in a relationship. The necessary action has been taken, considering both the complainant and the accused are minors.

18-year-old citizen held for running over Private Forces officer : An 18-year-old Kuwaiti citizen was arrested recently for running over a Private Forces officer at a security checkpoint, reports Al-Shahid daily. According to security sources, when a Private Forces officer filed a complaint at Firdous police station, stating that an unknown individual ran over his colleague at a security checkpoint, securitymen investigated and obtained statements from eyewitnesses.
According to the eyewitnesses, when the suspect arrived at the checkpoint, he did not stop and ran over the victim who was controlling the checkpoint. He was immediately referred to the nearest hospital for treatment.
A case was registered and using the information given by the eyewitnesses, securitymen managed to arrest the suspect and referred him to the General Department for Criminal Evidences for necessary legal action against him.
Meanwhile, a 27-year-old Kuwaiti woman lodged a complaint at Sabah Al-Salem police station against an unknown individual who was driving a vehicle with Saudi number plate, accusing the latter of crashing into her vehicle and escaping, reports Alam Alyawm daily.
She informed securitymen that she was driving on King Fahad Road towards Ahmadi when a speeding vehicle with Saudi number plate hit her vehicle and fled from the location without stopping.
Securitymen noted the description and number of the vehicle.
A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to arrest the suspect.

Jewellery, KD 2,000 stolen: Unknown individuals broke into the house of a Jordanian expatriate in Nugra recently and stole jewelry and KD 2,000 cash, reports Alam Alyawm daily.
After discovering the theft, the victim rushed to Nugra police station and lodged a complaint against the unknown suspects.
Securitymen rushed to the location along with officers from General Department of Criminal Evidences. They lifted fingerprints and collected other evidences.
A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to arrest the suspects and retrieve the stolen jewelry and cash.
