Kuwaiti accused of swindling Indian of KD 35,000

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 5: An Indian expatriate lodged a complaint at Fahaheel police station against a Kuwaiti citizen who swindled him of KD 35,000, reports Al-Anba daily.
The expatriate reported that he had signed a contract with the citizen to open a center for selling spare parts for vehicles, after which he paid the agreed sum. However, the citizen took the money and disappeared.
A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to arrest the citizen and retrieve the stolen money.

Jewelry worth KD 17,000 stolen: Few unidentified individuals broke into the house of a Kuwaiti woman recently and stole jewelry worth KD 17,000 from the safe, reports Alam Alyawm daily.
When the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received a distress call from the Kuwaiti woman about the burglary, securitymen from Adan police station rushed to the location along with officers from General Department of Criminal Evidences.
They lifted fingerprints and collected other evidences. A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to arrest the suspects and retrieve the stolen jewelry.

Farm laborers steal KD 700: Four Asian laborers working at a farm in Wafra stole KD 700 from the farm and ran away, reports Al-Nahar daily.
The owner of the farm, who is a retired Kuwaiti citizen, lodged a complaint at Wafra police station against his four laborers, informing securitymen that when he went to the farm, he was shocked to find the door of his room open. He checked his items and discovered that KD 700 was missing. When he was unable to find the laborers, he rushed to the police station to lodge a complaint against them.
A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to arrest the suspects and retrieve the stolen money.

Yemeni’s KD 250 stolen: A Yemeni expatriate sustained injuries on his hand when three masked individuals waylaid him and robbed him of his two mobile phones, KD 250 cash, his Civil ID and license as well as the keys of his vehicle which was provided by the company he works for, reports Alam Alyawm daily.
The victim rushed to the nearest police station following the incident and lodged a complaint against the three unknown suspects.
He informed securitymen that he sustained injuries on his hand while trying to resist one of the suspects who was armed with a steel object. He was referred to Mubarak Hospital for treatment.
