Twelve men gang-rape Filipina maid in Jahara

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 3: Twelve unidentified men gang-raped a Filipina domestic worker inside a tent in Jahra.
Reportedly, the victim’s Kuwaiti sponsor took her to Al-Na’eem Police Station in a deplorable state, where he informed securitymen that his housemaid was on her way to the Cooperative Society close to the house in Al-Na’eem when two men in a black vehicle abducted her.
They also took her handbag, which contained KD 20 and mobile phone. They then drove to a desert where they took her inside a tent occupied by ten men and the 12 suspects took turns in sexually assaulting her.
A case was registered for investigation.

Drugs seized: Two Asian expatriates were arrested recently in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh for possession of a large quantity of drugs and two bottles of locally brewed liquor.
Reportedly, while Farwaniya securitymen were patrolling Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, they suspected a vehicle and stopped it for checking. They searched the vehicle and found the illicit items.
The suspects were arrested and referred with the items to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them.

Liquor peddler held: An Asian expatriate was arrested recently on Wafra Road for possession of 208 bottles of locally brewed liquor, reports Al-Nahar daily.
When securitymen received information that an Asian expatriate is selling locally brewed liquor to customers in Wafra Farms, securitymen rushed to the location and suspected a speeding vehicle.
They chased the vehicle and demanded the driver to stop. Checking his details, they discovered he is a Korean expatriate. They checked his vehicle and found 208 bottles of locally brewed liquor.
During interrogations, he admitted that he and his friends brewed the liquor in his apartment in Fahaheel. He also revealed that he sells each bottle of liquor for KD 5 with delivery service.
The suspect was referred with the liquor bottles to Abdullah Port police station for necessary legal action against him.

Smuggling bid: An Iraqi national was arrested recently at Abdali border for attempting to smuggle 10,000 narcotic pills and 2.5 kilograms of other drugs into the country, reports Al-Rai daily.
When Abdali border securitymen suspected a vehicle loaded with wooden boards, they stopped the driver to check his details and discovered he is an Iraqi national.
Sensing his nervousness, they checked the vehicle and lifted the boards to find the drugs hidden underneath them.
The suspect was arrested and referred with the drugs to the Directorate General for Drug Control for the necessary legal action against him.
