Kuwaiti attempts to kidnap his wife

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 3:  A Kuwaiti citizen was arrested recently for attempting to kidnap his wife from her family home in Salwa and shooting at securitymen, reports Al-Qabas daily.
According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information from a Kuwaiti citizen that his brother-in-law barged into his house armed with a gun and tried to kidnap his sister, who is the suspect’s wife, securitymen rushed to the location.
The suspect tried to resist arrest and shot at securitymen but the latter managed to control him.
He was arrested and referred to Salwa police station for necessary legal action against him.

Teen girl missing: A 14-year-old girl was reported as missing recently by her family when she failed to return home after school, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to security sources, the girl’s mother filed the missing persons report at Mahboula police station. Securitymen noted down the description of the missing girl and circulated it to the concerned departments for investigation.

Duo hits mall: Two unidentified youths recently broke into a supermarket in Hawally and stole several items, reports Alam Alyawm daily.
Reportedly, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information from an Egyptian salesman working in the supermarket about the burglary, securitymen and officers from General Department for Criminal Evidences rushed to the location.
They collected evidences and lifted fingerprints.
A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to arrest the two suspects.
