Mother wins more time with kid ‘Negative implications on girl’

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 28: The Personal Status Court of Appeals in Farwaniya presided over by Judge Jamal Al-Mir accepted a divorced woman’s plea to reduce the time her ex-husband visits their daughter and decided that the visiting time would be from 4 pm to 9 pm every Friday as well as second days of Eid Al-Fitr and Eid Al-Adha.
The plaintiff counsel lawyer Zainab Al-Ramzi informed the court that staying away from maternal care has resulted in negative implications on the young girl, who should be spending more time with her mother.  She quoted Article 196 of the Constitution, which gives the judge the right to specify time and location for such visits in the best interest of the child.

Brothers arrested: Police have arrested two Kuwaiti brothers — one for violating the law by reckless driving and the other for attacking police with a knife, reports Al-Rai daily.
This happened with the patrolmen from the Taima Police Station stopped a reckless motorist.
The daily added the brother of the motorist arrived within no time and attacked the policemen. The brothers have been referred to the competent authorities.
