Drunkard fires AK-47 rounds at bakery for not getting cake Asian fired at, stopped, robbed

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 27: An unidentified individual shot twice at a confectionary shop in Sabah Al-Nasser after the salesman at the shop refused to give him a cake for free. Huge material losses were incurred due to this incident.

According to security sources, the suspect, who seemed intoxicated, went to the confectionary and ordered a cake. However, he refused to pay for the cake after it was ready. When the salesman refused to give him the cake for free, the suspect stepped out of the shop and shot twice at it from the outside using a ‘Kalashnikov’ weapon, after which he fled from the location.

When the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the incident, Farwaniya securitymen rushed to the location with officers from General Department of Criminal Evidences. They collected the evidences and bullets and lifted fingerprints from the site for investigations.
A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to arrest the suspect.

Meanwhile, an Asian expatriate filed a case at Taima police station against three unknown individuals who were driving a vanette and shot at the tires of his vehicle with air guns to stop him, after which they grabbed his cell phone and fled from the location.

According to security sources, different police stations of Jahra Governorate received several similar reports regarding the three suspects, who travel in a vanette and stop vehicles by shooting at the tyres after which they seize the belongings of the drivers and flee from the location.

They explained that two Asian expatriates had earlier filed a report in which they stated that the driver of a vanette stopped them by shooting at the tyres of their vehicle. However, the suspect was unable to steal their money and escaped when he faced resistance from the two expatriates.

The sources also said another Asian expatriate filed a witness report in which he specified that while he was driving through Al-Naseem area, he witnessed three individuals shooting at the back door of a vehicle and forcing it to stop on the roadside.

Sources revealed that officers from Jahra Investigation Department have started an intensive investigation to find and arrest the three suspects after receiving directives in this regard by Jahra Security Director Major General Ibrahim Al-Tarrah, adding a large number of officers from General Department of Criminal Evidences were assigned to lift fingerprints and collect evidences for investigations.
