Missing wife ‘wanted’

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 24: An Arab man’s missing report on his wife at a police station in Salmiya led to the discovery that she is wanted by law for her involvement in a forgery case, reports Al-Anba daily.
The husband told police his wife is still in Kuwait but she left their house some days ago and has not returned since then. The officers intensified their search for the woman who had earlier been sentenced to four years in prison for forgery.

Selling used stamps: Police have arrested an unidentified person for selling recycled revenue stamps, reports Al-Rai daily.
The suspect was taken into custody at the Al-Sabah Area Health Department. He has been handed over to the Shuwaikh Industrial Area Police Station.

Wife, kids beaten: An unidentified woman has filed a complaint at Ahmadi Police Station against her husband who allegedly beat her, their children whose ages range from six to nine years old and the housemaid, reports Al-Anba daily.
A case was registered and police are now looking for the husband for questioning to verify the woman’s complaint. If the accusation is proven true, he will be referred to the concerned security department for the necessary legal action.

Police officer insulted: An unidentified woman was arrested recently in Salmiya for drunk driving and insulting a police officer on duty, reports Al-Rai daily.
Reportedly, while securitymen were patrolling Salmiya, they suspected a woman driving her vehicle recklessly and stopped her for checking. Initially, the woman refused to pull over but relented after a while and started humiliating the patrol officer.
Policewomen rushed to the location and referred the suspect to the police station for necessary legal action against her.
