Three break into garage, beat workers to take impounded car

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 13: Three unidentified persons were arrested in Subhan for breaking into the garage for impounded cars in the area in an attempt to get a vehicle which had earlier been confiscated for an undisclosed traffic violation, reports Al-Rai daily.

The suspects beat three employees at the garage - a Kuwaiti, an Egyptian and an Indian - as they forced them to give a vehicle which had been impounded in accordance with the instruction of Assistant Undersecretary for Traffic Affairs at the Interior Minister Major General Dr Mustafa Al-Zuabi.

Out of frustration over their failure to get the impounded vehicle, the suspects allegedly took the key and fled from the scene using their car which was parked away from the garage.

Securitymen rushed to the location immediately after receiving information on the incident.  The employees provided them with a detailed description of the suspects who were arrested later.

A case was registered and the suspects were referred to the concerned security department for the necessary legal action.
